NAUVOO CITY PARK

Description: The Nauvoo Park District is located at the corner of Winchester and Young Streets. It is a five acre park with a ball diamond, a playground, dog park, and a covered pavilion (available to rent). The locals call this the "purple park." If you visit Nauvoo in the summer you can catch a T-Ball or Baseball game here. This park is across from the historic Hyrum Smith Farm (tours not available).
Amenities: Benches, tables, basketball court, playground. No restrooms available. The park is wheelchair accessible if you stay on the sidewalk, but there is no paved path to the playground.

NAUVOO STATE PARK
Address: 980 S Bluff St, Nauvoo, IL 62354
Description: The Nauvoo State Park is located at Parley Street and Highway 96. This 148 acre park includes a 13 acre lake with a mile long shoreline. In addition to fishing, boating, camping, and hiking, people return to these serene surroundings for the park's recreational features, its annual grape festival, and to soak up the area's history.There are two playgrounds available at this park. The park is well-shaded and there is a pavilion (available to rent). The pavilion is wheelchair accessible. Restrooms available in the pavilion when rented or in use.
