How Can You Help?

The Nauvoo Food Pantry is run entirely by volunteers and has no source of funding other than grants and donations. Without everyone's generosity the Food Pantry would not be able to do what it does. Donations of Products. Donations of store-bought canned goods, cereals, paper products, laundry detergent, household cleaning supplies dish soap and personal hygiene products are always needed. Donations of Cash. The Nauvoo Food Pantry purchases part of its food form the River Bend Food Bank at a greatly reduced cost. Every dollar donated to the Pantry can be used to purchase up to five dollars' worth of food from the food bank. Monetary Donations can be directly deposited at the State Bank of Nauvoo or mailed to the Nauvoo Food Pantry, P.O. Box 98, Nauvoo, IL 62354.

The Future:

We are grateful to all the people and businesses who have helped the Nauvoo Food Pantry serve the needs of the Nauvoo area for the past 40 years. So many have served on the pantry board, volunteered time unloading food, stocking shelves, serving clients, donating food, donating money and for them we are so very grateful. We are grateful to local businesses that have donated food and money to help us with our mission. We are grateful to the City of Nauvoo for their support over the years and for allowing us to use part of the Community Center. We plan to continue to "Fight Hunger"; for many years to come.
