NAUVOO BRIGHT ANGELS Annually, a group of women in Nauvoo work together to form the Nauvoo Bright Angels committee. This group is dedicated to making Christmas a bright time for families in need with children ages 0-18 years old and living within the Nauvoo-Colusa School District and/or Sts. Peter and Paul School. Application for this year's program will be available in October. If you or someone you know could utilize this program (and live within the stated boundaries), please use this application, get one from your school or from the Nauvoo Public Library. Application information is strictly confidential. Completed applications may be turned in to the Nauvoo Public Library, your school or your clergy. If you would like to become a Nauvoo Bright Angel Helper, i.e., donate or purchase gifts for the children, please look for Angel Trees in the State Bank of Nauvoo and the Nauvoo Public Library around the first full week in November. Monetary donations may also be made at the State Bank of Nauvoo. Each year, the Nauvoo Bright Angels committee, made up of dedicated local women, works to ensure that Christmas is a special time for families in need. The program supports families with children ages 0-18 living within the Nauvoo-Colusa School District or attending Sts. Peter and Paul School. Applications for assistance are available in October and can be obtained from the Nauvoo Public Library, schools, or clergy, with all information kept confidential. Completed applications can be returned to the library, school, or clergy. If you would like to contribute to this effort, you can become a "Nauvoo Bright Angel Helper" by donating or purchasing gifts for children. Look for Angel Trees at the State Bank of Nauvoo and the Nauvoo Public Library in early November. Monetary donations are also accepted at the State Bank of Nauvoo to support the program. Your generosity helps brighten the holidays for local families in need.
